Woodland Wander
Find me surrounded by all the greens and browns of the natural world during the summer season. Never wanting to miss a perfect day out in the wilderness, I always have my camera to capture the textures, colours and picturesque landscape found within the Peak District.
Botanical Pick Me Up
Experimenting with location flash. Using either Profoto A1 flashes or a RICI Kit which is designed specifically to help with incorporating flash into macro photography. I instantly fell in love with how they enabled me to capture the finer details from the delicate flower petals to the vivid gradient of colour found in the trees.
By The Seaside
Some of the best images are the ones you never expect to capture. We take photographs to remember the adventures we've had but sometimes they can mean much more than that. They can show you how beautiful nature is and can continue to be if only we learn to look after it.
The Lost Adventurer
Getting unexpectedly lost is the best part of every adventure. Roaming around stumbling across new places you didn't even know existed. Let's just hope you remembered your camera because you wouldn't want to miss this.
Misty Times
You can't beat an early Autumn morning exploration. A time of year we don't quite appreciate as much as we should. But let me tell you one thing... a hat and scarf were definitely needed for this one.
Nature's Wonderland
Always looking for a new adventure... no matter what the weather. It's all about taking each experience, regardless if you know the outcome. It's about seeing the world from a different perspective, even if you've seen it a million times before. It's choosing to see the beauty from the ordinary and finding new ways to explore it differently. Adventure can be found in our everyday lives, in the little things if only you choose to see it and of course choose the right person to share it with... just don't forget your camera. I know I won't...
Mini Adventures
Whenever I have a free few hours I always like to take my camera and go on mini adventures. The natural world has always captivated and inspired me to be creative. Finding the hidden beauties within nature, from the vastness of the landscape to the intricacy of a flower petal.
Botanicals On Film
I love experimenting with film. Going back to more traditional techniques within photography and combining them with more recent and innovative methods. I believe film has a more personal touch to it, as each individual image is hand developed and enlarged, giving them individuality and making them unique.
